FMS Classroom...where are the students???Did you know .....that men only speak approximately 12,000 words per day and women speak approximately 25,000? Maybe you had kind of guessed that one....But did you know that men put value in performance, power, things, efficiency & capacity, success & solutions...where as women put value in love, communication, beauty, contact, care & fellowship? Or did you know that men need to be admired & recognised for who they are and what they do and women need understanding to feel loved???
Mel & I have just finished teaching for one week in the Family Ministries School (FMS) on the above topics...The week went by so quickly with this wonderful class of students. Midweek we gave them a special day alone with God. This day with the Lord proved to be quite a gift for many of the students as the schedule in FMS is quite busy with academic assignments, work duties, family relationships, lectures, small groups, one on one staff/student times, worship & intercession...not to mention living in community with many others of different backgrounds, temperaments & nationalities.
Someone gifted the class with finances for an outing to " The Klondykes " hot springs swimming pool. So on Saturday we had a wonderful time of swimming, eating and fellowship.

Mel & Jonathan dropped by the hot springs to visit (via the swing bridge) and then continued on their way to Manila to pick up our guest speakers John & Mary Clark from New Zealand. They will teach this week in the FMS with their topic on sexuality.
